Here’s a quick look at what the real estate market is doing as things start to open back up a little bit. Our market has actually been very busy throughout quarantine. We’ve been having a lot of conversations with buyers and sellers, and while sellers were a little more apprehensive a few months back, we expect to see a lot more people come on the market as restrictions relax.

The spring market will be delayed until this summer.

Due to the low inventory and low interest rates we have right now, sellers are making out really well. For example, we just put a home on the market and got 11 offers on it on the first day after it went live.

This year’s spring market is still coming, it’s just going to be delayed until this summer. There are still a lot of people out there who want to take advantage of our market conditions and do so safely. We’re all wearing masks and booties, bringing along sanitizer, and leaving all the doors inside open so nobody has to touch anything during in-person showings. We’re also holding listing appointments, open houses, and other showings virtually as much as possible. With these safeguards in place, we’re hoping that more and more people will be comfortable with the prospects of buying or selling a home this summer.

If you have any questions about what’s going on in the market or anything else related to real estate, don’t hesitate to give us a call or send us an email. We look forward to hearing from you.
